Thank You

We just want to say a HUGE THANKYOU to everyone for your kind thoughts and words at the loss of our lovely Ellie.

It really has meant such a lot to us to feel the warmth and support from so many. We can't actually put into words or describe how it has felt.

The last 48 hrs has been so very hard to handle and we are still very raw. It never gets any easier saying goodbye to a much loved family member. No matter how many times you experience it. Our dogs always let us down, they never live long enough.

Aunty Ellie (as she was known by the other thuglets) was a ^very special girl "with the most lovely nature and personality. She always made us smile......

Whilst there are 5 thuglets in the kitchen......... Ellie is missing!

Ellie had her own corner in the kitchen with her bed, the other thuglets, always respected her corner and bed. They are taking it in turns at the moment spending time there which is lovely as we hate to see the corner empty. We did try moving things around yesterday - but we all hated the new look. The thuglets looked at us as if to say "NO WAY"... so back the bed went.

Went shopping and found ourselves standing infront of the macaroni cheese and creamed rice pudding thinking must get some for Ellie. Last romp in the darkness before bed we always count the thuglets in 1 - 6. Yes we got to 5 and thought where are you Ellie? Then you remember!

We know in time the hurt will start to lift and we will remember the goodtimes, we are so fortunate we have many to look back on.

The Thuglets are getting lots of extra TLC and bonios at the moment.

Thank you again to you all of you
Karen & Alan

Lovely memories of Ellie. You are so right, it is never easy to say good bye to a loved furry. But remember her through all the good memories and in time, the hurt will heal.

Its hard to find the right words to say, it seems we have to go though this physical pain, and we all know what that feels like when a furiend passes on.
You all just need time. But to also talk about Ellie to, she was a big part of your life.

Oh, it is so difficult! Aunt Elly will be always absent, but pains become with the time less, one remembers amusing stories and can again laugh at Elly.

I was so very upset to hear the news about Ellie. We had Ellie from birth until she went to live with her new family when my parents moved to America.
I will never forget the fun we had together or the love she shared with her Mum Hannah.
Two truly amazing, loving and beautiful girls who we miss every day.
I would like to thank Karen & Alan for looking after them both so well and for all the love they showered them with.
Mother & Daughter are now reunited and will be snuggling up together every night, what could be more comforting.
Miss you girls.

We think of Ellie everyday. We know how much you must miss her. She was part of your family forever, well it feels like forever. She'll be happy with Hannah over the bridge now. They've lots to catch up on. Can you imagine the stories she's telling Hannah about the other Thuglets hehe.
Take care xx

Oh Thuglets...

Strong work on takin' turns in Miss Ellie's corner...we know each and all of you are finding a way to render comfort to your Peeps...

We love that picture of dear Ellie with the pudding on her face...she was a true lady Dale and her spirit is captured in that photo...

Time helps...it softens things a bit...

We're sending comforting terrier love right through our puter screen....

and Stan sends some Dale kisses with his somewhat smelly beardie...I don't know what he stores in there, but I do know Scruffy likes to roll on it...

Love ya, my dears,

Oh dear. We've been gone too too long and now we see that we missed this very sad event. We are so sorry to read that your family is now one fewer and that Ellie is no longer among you. We wish there was something we could say that would ease the pain ... but we know better. We just hope that knowing that one more family understands and cares helps provide just a bit more comfort.

Cherish your memories. We know you will.

My heart goes out to you at this time or sorrow. May your memories of Ellie bring you great joy.
