A day in January

Rain Rain go away! Thats all we have had for days..our garden is like a big mud pie which is lots of fun..funny the hoomans don't seem to share our sense of fun. They are forever washing the kitchen floor. LOL We really want more snow so we can go out and play.

Cora is now back to her normal fun finally we were today allowed to have our juicy marrowbones yum yum. Although we get one each Teddy and Holly decided to play a game of "tugga bone". It was funny watching Holly dragging our Teddy across the floor....neither of them were going to give up that bone! There nearly was a photo but when we got the camera someone who will remain nameless had removed the card from it.

Hopefully the camera will remain out of action... cause the dreaded deed of stripping has begun! Everyday she looks for a volunteer. A volunteer is this woman mad? LOL Somehow one of us ends up on the table...3 of us are half stripped. Poor Webster & Dorcus are fast loosing their very furry coats.

Last night Webster was on the grooming table trying to sleep when on came this racket apparently called music. If it wasn't bad enough it was some blokie named James Blunt thing all hell breaks loose as Teddy has found a big tin lid which he is carrying in his gob going round and round the kitchen banging it on everything to the music....persued by 4 other thuglets howling!

Bummer about the camera! We would have loved to see tug-a-bone! Mom says that it won't be much longer and we'll be getting groomies too! Must be something in the aire that's making the moms nuts!

Love ya lots,

Hm, stripping time eh? Mom has been letting me get my "teddy bear" coat but as it gets warmer I fear I will also go "under the knife" and get a defuzzing. I am also not thrilled, but cannot hide behind my cats so I wish you luck!

Teddy matie,
Were you trying to drown out the sound of James Blunt haa haaa haa. Sounds like you succeeded.
Glad to hear Cora is better. She gave us all a scare.
It's raining here too and it's supposed to hang around all next week.

Hope you get some sun or snow soon.

I hope you don't get too much more rain and snow if you're all going to be stripped of your curls! Pa says I can keep my hairy bear look until spring, but I have always been clippered and my hair is very soft, so no stripping for me!

You mum must have achy arms and sore fingers after striping 6 of you!

The image of half stripped Thuglets, and the banging & howling to the music, is hilarious!

Glad Cora's back to form.

It's been raining here too but luckily, not that heavily. Ooo, mud ponds are soooper doooper fun! Too bad, we've found none sooo far. Our hoomans are not happee about the rain either...Hopefully it'll start snowing there soon so that you guys can enjoy yourselves out there.

Oh, my mother has decided that I should have my fur stripped as well. I believe she is daft.

Our mother doesn't like mud pies either! What is wrong with these humans??

Nice one Teddy! Have you been having tips from your little Sister! Mindy is half stripped as well - Mum can only take her out in the dark as she looks terrible!

I know what you mean about the stripping guys. Whats wrong with these hoomans leave us alone to get really hairy. I know soon it will be my turn again to mount that stripping table. It would not be so bad if they did it in one day but they spend so long stripping im surprise they dont havr to start all over again when they have finished. The bones sounds tasty would like to see teddy trying to get that and the bone throught the dog flap. hahahahaha like the last time. Well let you get back to stripping and good luck with the mud wrestling.

Hi Thuglets

Sounds like you could make up half a percussion section of an orchestra and do the vocals at same time. How talented you are, please could you get the Humans to video it next time? WE want to see it.

Uh oh, striping time? That's never good, especially at this time of year when it's still cold and rainy.

I laughed when I read the last part of this post. Sounds like you can all get quite noisy when you want to, eh?

Yuck, stipping time. NOt sure what is worse, getting stipped at home or being shipped off to the groomers to get cut. Good luck avoiding the table. he he! Glad Cora is doing so much better, mmmmmm marrow bones sound yummy!

Oh Thugies...we'd love to see pix of the stripping...isn't it amazing how the memory card fairy always steals the card right outta the camera?? Happens here all the time. So glad you pups are all feelin' well again...we were worried!
We're all in trouble here. All three of us chewed up a 4 colored ink pen today...Lacie looks the ink on her paws and blue on her beard. Carpet looks great too...'specially where Mumsie tried ...emphasis on the word clean it...she smeared it in this boootiful mess...
We terriers are so talented.
Come and play!!!

PEE ESS Mumsie had NO idea Dales howl...I am an expert!

Hey, Thugs!

My girl is absolutely IN LOVE with all of you! We can't believe that your mama actually hand strips all of you!

I too am going all teddy bear, but you can bet that will end as soon as it starts to get warm here.

Goober love & congratulations on all of your awards,

OOOHHHH...Grooming Table Punishment!

There's a crazed woman in OUR house who does this--obsessively, and constantly--but stripping? Wow, that's impressive!

Just wait 'til the Revolution. No more torture--just mud and marrow bones.

We're awfully happy Cora's doing better.
