Farewell to Maggie

It was with huge sadness we heard the news our special friend Maggie left for the Rainbow Bridge.  Maggie was a gorgeous girl who brought laughter and love into our all lives with her beautiful infectious smile.  We are thinking of Sue, George and Mitch at this very sad time.

We are very sure that Miss Ellie & Dorcus are having a great time over the bridge with Maggie sharing lots of ice cream and pizza!

Maggie run free forever with the wind in your face.

So sorry to hear about sweet Maggie. And where is that snow? Bones look like a good way to get some "no snow" frustrations out. Can't imagine why you can't have them in the house! Ann TBL

We have no clue why you aren't allowed in the house now. You need to get inside so you can wipe your chins on the furniture!

It is so sad about Maggie. We all know what her family is going through, don't we!

Thank you so much for the beautiful tribute to My Maggie, guys. I just know she found Miss Ellie and Dorcus and they're sharing pizza and ice cream at The Bridge!
Mom gave me a marrow bone yesterday but it wasn't nearly as big as the ones you got!

Oh yes, you sure did find something great to do today. And Holly, you are so right - mud surely enhances the flavor:)

We too were very saddened by the loss of sweet Maggie - she was a special girl.

I have a revolution on my hands - the Labraduo saw the bones on my screen!!!

We gave our dogs raw bones ONCE in their lives. Our now deceased dog, S, swallowed a chunk of one of them and had to have his intestines cut open to remove it. The good part of the story was that the surgeon found cancer in S's abdomen, and removed ALL of it. He died years later from a different cause. So, in a way, the raw bone saved his life.

Hi Thuglets, yummers those bones look delish. Can't understand why you aren't allowed inside with them.

We went to visit Maggie's family too and sent our sincere sympathy. We will miss her. She would have been welcomed at the Rainbow Bridge with love and opened paws for sure. No worries, and love, Stella and Rory

Hi guys! Thanks for coming by our resuscitated bloggie. We're surprised anyone noticed!
We're also insanely jealous of your juicy bones. Mojo hasn't had one in years as she goobed the carpet up with grease. And Digger... ssshhhh.... doesn't even know they exist yet.

Got snow yet? It's flurrying down here in Devon and we're not supposed to get any.
