A year has passed

We find it hard to believe its is a year since we had to say goodbye to Dorcus our beautiful girl.

Dorcus loved to relax under the butchers block

Her first taste of snow

Her first snow outing

Her first red collar

We miss you so much. There is never a day goes by without us thinking of you.

We have such happy memories of the time we shared with you Dorcus.  But 5 years was not long enough. We thought you would be with us forever and you will be. Forever in our hearts.

With Love

Hi Thuglets, mom and dad: My dad kind of avoided clicking on this post at first. The title makes him very sad. I think that it reminds him of his first two "furry kids" that he raised with my mom. It's been more than 7 years and they still miss them so we understand how sad you must be and how even after a year, the sorrow remains. But there are also many, many good memories, as you've included in this post. It's just that you, like us, wanted many, many more.

We remember that well, it was right around when we first met you. She sure was a beauty. Much too young, but it is nice to have such wonderful memories of your sweet girl.

She looks like such a sweet girl. No matter how many dogs in your life, it never gets easier to say good-bye.

Hi Karen and Alan and all your pups. We totally understand your feelings. Five years was not enough but in that five years she had a family who loved her and who still love her deeply. Let her bring you a smile while looking at her photos, sometimes a tear when missing those sweet cuddles but always knowing she was and still is, part of your family. No worries, and extra love, Carol x

Lovely Dorcus. Five years is not enough time and it's hard to believe it's been a year since she left. I love the picture of her enjoying her first snow - such a beautiful girl. Ann TBL
