Keeping Pets?

Our hooman likes to collect jugs, especially big old ones (we think she has around 40!) they are kept on top of cupboards, dressers etc.  You get the picture?

Time to wash all the jugs in the scullery one by one. As she lowered one into warm soapy water......... imagine her surprise when out flopped our pet!

As "our pet" flopped and flapped through soap suds trying hard to breath..she ran through the house screaming for help come quick I have a Bat!

Help arrived armed with kitchen roll. The little bat was rescued from the sink and suds!

Not being very impressed at nearly half drowned and now being helped... he made scarey skrieking noises and tried hard to bite the fingers of the helping hand!

Little bat was quickly removed to a very dark place and off he flapped.  We think we saw him with his bat friends safely outside in the dark sky on halloween!

OK..so who has been keeping pets again?

Was it BATMAN???

I think my mom is going to check her
pots soon. I don't think she likes any other PETS except me.

Even though bats can be scary, your little "pet" is kinda cute. Glad he got to go hang out with his friends...

Hi Thuglets, I checked with my mom - nope, she wouldn't be very pleased if a bat came shrieking out of a jug. That would be bad. Glad it worked out okay at your house though.

OMD< we can't believe someone there actually touched that scary bat!!! Be careful, we hear their bite is worse than their bark - BOL.

Oh my! I am currently getting pitchers and jugs ready for a sale. If I find a "pet" like that it's not going to be a pretty sight of The Boston Lady shrieking about. Awwww, poor bat baby. Ok, that was fake, but I love all living things so I had to say it. Hope he found his friends and family. Ann TBL

A bat? In a jug? Jan would be shrieking through the house too! Glad it all worked out without anyone getting bitten.

What a cheeky little bat. Poor thing. Probably having a nice little sleep and then, bam into soapy water. Hope he is flying with his friends now. No worries, and love, Stella and Rory
