Just gotta say ... we JUST read that our pal Mackie (a wire fox terrier ... you can see him on our sidebar) JUST had a baby sock removed from his insides. Uh oh. Be careful. (He's prob'ly gonna be in the naughty chair when he wakes up.)
We KNOW how much fun they are, though Jake has a preference for dirty wash cloths.

Fergi and Jake's advice is good, but maybe he is just trying to be helpful. Too bad the humans can't train him to match the pairs up:)

You're just trying to help aren't you Teddy. What a clever boy. At least you aren't taking the 'knickers'. Take care Thuglets. No worries, love Carol.
Our angel sister Allie was a notorius sock theif. Thankfully there were no trips to the vet. But who'd a thunk that one would miss a sock theif when they've gone to the bridge?? sigh...

Maybe this solves the long lost question of where your second sock ends up when you do the laundry! Ted's been sneaking around and stealing socks! :)
Yeah, the Op Pack has a good idea. Teach him to match the socks. :)
We hope he doesn't eat any. We just did a post the other day on a big stuffed cat toy that Sam ate and scared Jan half to death. Fortunately, it came out both ends.
There is nothing wrong with collecting socks, you can probably trade them in for treats!!!
Teddy want to pop down? I have some slippers...... we could play tug with socks and slippers then.
Monty
Do you do wet flannels too Teddy?
They're right good!

He was just trying to help with the laundry thing! Oh well, and have some fun too!
I have a sock thief in my house too! Trixie used to steal them, but she's stopped doing all bad stuff since Minnie came along. Better to point fingers and blame I guess!!
I must be missing the khlothing thief gene -
BUT I'm with Jake - I tend to find The DN's washkhloth!

Hey Teddy, do you need a bra and some underwear to go with that sock?
Wyatt

Sock thief??? Nah, Teddy is sweet and looks innocent! I'm sure he's just trying to help to put it away : )
Your hoomans probably needed new colors anyhow. Tell mom that you were just holding onto the sock so that none of the other kids could run off with it.
Oh what a D-LiTe-Ful post!! Socks are so much fun to steal and those pictures are a perfect visual!!!
Smooches,

Baby says that because she too is a sock thief. She only steals them so that Mommy will chase her though. That's her game.bol.

Too funny! Ted you need to find a place to hide them before they spot you!
What is it about socks Teddy?? I do the same thing, but I usually put holes in them.
Be careful Teddy to not swallow. My rescuer told mom about her airdale that swallowed panties and had to have surgery!!
Maybe if you learn to match those sockies mom will let you have more!
Love,
Rudy
He can't help it...Socks are fun!
Oooooh! Socks are evil... They always tempt Meee too!
I feel for you Teddy; just smile big when you are caught red pawed.
Nobody can resist a Big innocent smile :o)
Later,
Neeko :o)
I love the sock game too.
