We are tonight absolutely stunned!
Briefly Dorcus didn't eat her breakfast this morning and this afternoon something wasn't or rather didn't look right with her when she was laid asleep. Her tummy looked huge and on feeling her tummy it felt so hard. We got her an appointment at the vets within an hour.
The news after examination by the vet - he believes she is seriously ill. Dorcus has a high temperature and a heart murmur. She may have congenital heart failure, her abdomen being full of fluid, also her lungs. Blood tests have revealed she has an infection and showing signs of anaemia and changes in her liver.
Dorcus has had 2 injections and is now home and resting with the other thuglets.
We have to take her back for 8.30am tomorrow for full x-rays of her chest and abdomen. We will know more after this.
Dorcus needs your help. Please cross everything and send those positive thoughts for our gorgeous girl.

It's just after 7am here ..Dorcus has had a quiet night. We were up to check on her during the night. She remains the same, thankfully no worse. We are just getting ready to leave for the vets.
