Catching Up

Well its the weekend and no escape for us from the grooming table - even me Ellie got caught! We 5 could only watch as we we locked in the garden! Ellie says there I was just enjoying myself in the garden looking nice and wooIlie don't know what the junior thuglets complain about - she uses the electric clippers on me because my coat is so soft. My ears make excellent radars - maybe I could try flying with them? Cora's airecut started as well but then she had to go find some mud! Yep shes got a new hole under way LOL
Well better toddle off lots to do.....and oh heck the grooming table is out! Webster, Dorcus and Holly have run off to hide!

Oh Ellie you have lost your lovely soft warm coat. At least you will be left in peace now.

There are mutterings here about my curly coat, hope that does not mean I will have to endure the same as you.

Do you all get groomed in one day? Your mom must be one strong lady to do all of you - Dale after Dale and Dale! My mom can only do one of us per day! What a sissy my mom is! You'll be so much cooler and neater! We love our haircuts!

Love ya lots,

I do like your wooliness an awful lot - I'm sort of a brillo-pad kind of guy...

Today is Spa Day for us, too. We've all three had our baths, and are waiting for the clippers. At least we get lots of snuggles when we smell good.

Hi Ellie, I have a soft coat too. It's nice isn't it. Are the other Thuglets still in hiding or has 'she' hunted them down????
I bet 'she' can't find you down one of Cora's holes.

Good luck

Thankfully I've already had my winter haircut. I'm trying to grow my beard to enter Stanley's contest so I'm hoping I won't get another trim for ages! J x

Ellie, your ears are a work of art. Mine are lopsided and a bit floppy, so I am jealous.

I will get clippers too Ellie as my coat is soft. My ears are very similar to your too. Maybe we're related?!

Cassidy is going to be a stripper, har har.

You guys look great with your haircuts. I think it is a general dog rule, tht we all HATE to get groomed. Glad to see Cora got muddy. Hope she got that way digging a hole!

Hey Ellie,
Nice hairdo! We get the grooming table too but Mama mostly strips on us. She does use the clippers some on our head & neck. Cora looks so nice too. Can't wait to see the other dales with their cuts. Hope you had a great weekend!

Aww you guys are all so cool! I've never met an Airedale before but I sure wish I could. I hate being groomed to!

Patience-please said...

Wow... you are lucky enough to grow nice wooly warm coats, and the humans clip or strip them away??? Just when you need it? We are very nearly nekked all the time, being so aerodynamic and all, and our Servants must put coats on us for morning walkies already. Especially the oldsters who get the shivers.

Ellie...our groomer's off "indefinitely" for medical leave. She had to go to the vets for some kinda surgery. We wish her well, but is it wrong to wish her a very very long recovery. Mumsie won't use anyone else, so we figure if she's outta commision say next May...that would rock!!!

We like ur wooly look...isn't it gettin' to be summer over there now???

My name is Koobuss and this is my first visit to your blog. I think that all of you are very beautiful and you do not need to suffer at the hands of the groomer. Besides, it's getting cold, and you are going to need all your fur pretty soon. Hehe..

(How's that? Did I help you out?)

Hi Thuglets
I haven't met you before. Your mum is as crazy as our mum coz she owns 4 English Setters except mum is still having trouble getting Beau back home. I like to be groomed but Hobson and Rose run when mum tells us we're going to get groomed. HAPPY BARKDAY MOLLIE FOR TOMORROW !!! We hope you have a wonderful day.
Love from Hammer
