Suspects

Can you believe this?

Breakfast was cooking sausage no less – but sadly not for us. When the cry went up “where is the oven glove”? (a big black gauntlet thingie – with lots of nice smells on it). We sat and watched as a search of the kitchen and scullery ensued. Nope it was no where to be found. Then all eyes turned to us “ 6 suspects”!
Our toy box was checked. Our corners were checked. A full and entire search of the garden from front to back by both hoomans. Even Cora’s latest hole (which we have to say is coming along diggingly) was searched. Proving it was a very serious affair. It was no where to be found – a mystery!
Our hoomans kept looking at each of us in turn – they were looking for a “prime suspect”..who was it going to be? They appeared to have their suspicions…apparently we all looked guilty. Who us?

Well the sausages were ready so back in to the house we all trudged. Ever hopeful us. Table has to be laid for breakfast so in the drawer for the table cloth …and what did they find? Yep you guessed it the missing oven glove. LOL

We knew that they would find they had misplaced it. Anyway we would never take the oven glove! Fancy suspecting us ... the audacity of them!!!

Surely they felt so guilty for suspecting us that the least they would do was give us a sausage. Nope not a morsel!

We entirely understand your frustration: we are all good dales, we help out and are not rewarded with one tiny little sausage. It really is extremely unfair, how mean can these hoomans get?
Your two hard done by, also sausageless buddies!

How unfair?? Who could ever suspect you of anything like that.....??!!
ps - I like the fact that you have your own 'corners' - just what a Dale needs, a good corner to hide things in.
How many sausages were there? Did they eat all of them?? Huh!

Love Molly and Gertie

Not even one sausage! So not fair. These hoomans don't understand how hard it is to be a good 'dale. Hopefully, their guilt will get to them and you'll get some sausage next time, since you are all such good 'dales!

Little Thugs!!

We have got to get your hoomans reprogrammed, guys! You'd think after all their cheek they'd at least give you a taste... They don't sound like they're heartless from everything else you've mentioned. Maybe just a refresher obedience course is all they need.

Give it a thought.

Goober love,
Stanley

I can't believe they blamed one of you and after all of that, you didn't even get one morsel of sausage! How unfair is this?! Ya know, with so many of you, I bet you can get away with a lot, huh? When something bad happens at our house, mom usually knows right away which one of us is the guilty party! Bummer!

Love ya lots,
Maggie

That'd be right Thuglets, naturally it's the fault of the canines.....they're a daft lot those hoomans. We assume there was a lot of apologising....hmmmmm. No apology no sausage...typical.

No sausages? Life's not fair sometimes. I think I probably would have helped myself while their backs were turned looking for the oven glove! J x
