Webster had just got up and couldn't do a thing with his beard!

Cora .... the stupid weather person promised us snow this weekend

This is the closest to snow we got.......snowdrops!

Holly was calling for breakie

Tims asked if anyone could shut her up..I am trying to relax

We got to play with a stick (thanks everyone for the help about stick playing)

We got really excited..

white flakes started to fall...

it had started to snow.

Holly said but the flakes are turning like rain now

Cora..we told her to get out with the camera quicker the flakes were thick and fast

Hello Everyone....hopefully you remember me?

Well life has been going well for me. I've been spending time learning how to walk without pulling and I also got a new soft fleece harness which I really like. (My harness isn't a stop you pulling gadget thingie). The other morning the cheekie heron joined me in the play field on our pond.

I have been learning about watching what or who passes our field and how not to react to things..

This is me now as Postman Pat arrives with our mail. He drives like a racing car driver (actually he's a bit of a maniac) and makes a right racket as he comes.

So...who is this?

Ah Ha............ this is MY Miss Bennett!

Now isn't she a surprise!

We aren't actually living together yet.. but that is the long term plan! As you can imagine I am a very happy chappie with lots to look forward to.......

We'll be back to tell you all about Miss Bennett another day. That's if the Thuglets will allow us some of their blog time!

Saturday visitors

We are having a very cold and frosty weekend! We had some very unexpected visitors to Base Camp Thuglets!

Early yesterday morning we hid in the trees. Cora... I am still wearing some of my camouflage

There in our field was a Foxy who was about to catch something..

She was then joined by her friend..

They started having a play fight...

Can you believe it... right in the middle of our play field? Maybe more than just friends?

Clearly they were Mr & Mrs Fox. They tied together playing push me pull me for 35 minutes!

They made such a racket..Holly & Timothy came out to see what was happening

Afterwards they hung around a while...she was doing a dance

Then Mrs Fox took off..

she's a fast mover..

Where's she going asked Mr Fox . who soon followed her.

Phew.. now we have our breakfast in peace said Holly & Timothy

Holly....Carrots and ginger bikkies are always worth waiting for!

Timothy..not forgetting our extra strong minties!

Holly ..yes we have two Holly's live here! Now can we eat please?

The pond you can see in our field is the result of all the rain we have had. Most days we have 2 herons living on it. (We had some photos but someone..her who shall not be named appears to have deleted them)!

A little Bribery

So today she needed to bribe me for a another snuggle session! I slept..she plucked. After my 40 winks.......

I know I know .... I was bribed

But hey ...what is a boy to do when you see this on offer? Liver Cakie...

No I didn't get to eat it all. But I did get to try it. Daleicious

You will notice I have the lop eared look. So obviously I have a lot more snuggle and plucking sessions to endure and just maybe.... some more liver cakie!

I snuggled for a cuddle with Mum on the floor. All I did was have 40 winks and when I opened my eyes ............

In the Naughty Corner

Well it starts here... we were so excited when we got Christmas biscuit cutters to go with our Bone one

So we had a great time this afternoon making sardine biscuits and cutting out Angels, Christmas trees, snowmen and bones. We were so exited about showing you them.

WHOOPS..... someone left the door open and they have all DISAPPEARED!
This is now all we have left to show you.....

It's a mystery where they went or who actually took them or who participated in the act.

Soooooooo..... we are ALL now in the naughty corner!

Sunday Relaxation?

Webster here... well Sundays are made for relaxation. So when we were invited into our newly decorated den. I took the opportunity of relaxing on the sofa.

Sorry Teddy I beat you to it mate!

Someone else had her feet up.... colour co-ordinated? Apparently she has another pair the same!!!

Then she decided forget the gale force wind outside let's light the fire!

Suddenly we could not see for smoke ..............

We can safely say our smoke detector alarms around the house work...as one by one they started to scream! We had to open all the windows and abandon the den.

Terrific what a great job she did!! Now some repainting to do!

Today we see to have all the ingredients...more than enough eggies now

Time for the oven. Well the recipe said microwave for 5 mins. Hmmmm...problem. We aren't very modern heres we don't have one! So we decided the baking oven for 20 mins.......

20 mins later............ VOILA............Sardine cakie

we had to wait until it cooled. Finally... we get to cut it up and officially taste time ......

Teddy said so now we need to freeze it...we have a special package of sardine cakie to make up for our special girl Molly to help her get better!

We are really worried our Bestest friend Molly
( Molly,Taffy, Monty & Winnie) has had an accident and hurt her back.

Please do drop in and send positive thoughts for Molly and her family who are naturally very worried about her...

We know Molly loves sardines. So after our huge success at making liver cakie we thought lets make Molly some sardine cake to make her feel better.... we got out the ingredients

"Flippin heck " said Teddy...we are missing two eggs..we need 4!

Well where did two eggs go?

Now instead of making sardine cake for Molly, I end up on the dreaded table...

So said Webster ..can someone please get some eggs for Molly's sardine cake? I haven;t got much hair left!!!

Big Boy 5

Well... I think I am going to enjoy being 5!

Thank you all for my Birthday Wishes.. Boy did I have a lovely time.

My birthday cake was incredible .. it was a "Daleion space ship" called "Birthday Boy" with 5 afterburners

it sparkled and fizzed. I blew hard at the afterburners ..they sparkled and fizzed

they kept relighting and there was lots of smoke...

eventually I managed to turn off the ignition source making a wish and we got to eat my cake..

truely it was lickalicious...

My birthday wish came true.... I got Liver Cakie...yipeeeeeeeeeee

Thank you so much everyone!!! Now when can we start on the liver cakie?

Holly's Birthday

Holly's 6th Birthday......

Ooooo..I had a lovely Birthday. Thank you so much everyone for my birthday wishes. The weather was horrid, but it didn't stop us, we had lots of fun and games.

Then The Thuglet's brought out my special 6th birthday cake

It looked absolutely daleicious

My absolute favourite! Fresh cream victoria sandwich with stawberry jam..finger licking good

I decided now I am a grown up young lady I wanted to be like Webster, I asked for pawket money for my birthday!

Keeping Pets?

Our hooman likes to collect jugs, especially big old ones (we think she has around 40!) they are kept on top of cupboards, dressers etc. You get the picture?

Time to wash all the jugs in the scullery one by one. As she lowered one into warm soapy water......... imagine her surprise when out flopped our pet!

As "our pet" flopped and flapped through soap suds trying hard to breath..she ran through the house screaming for help come quick I have a Bat!

Help arrived armed with kitchen roll. The little bat was rescued from the sink and suds!

Not being very impressed at nearly half drowned and now being helped... he made scarey skrieking noises and tried hard to bite the fingers of the helping hand!

Little bat was quickly removed to a very dark place and off he flapped. We think we saw him with his bat friends safely outside in the dark sky on halloween!

OK..so who has been keeping pets again?

Time to go home

Our last day and a huge surprise....

We taken out to lunch to a place called Arbuckles (on recommendation from Molly, Taffy, Monty & Winnie). We were even more excited when we found out who we were meeting and having lunch with.... Blue. We had a lovely time with her and she took this picture of us, which is on her bloggie.

You should have seen the Blue Cheese Steakburgers the hoomans had!

We called in at the Mill and we bought some treats to take home for The Thuglets. Home made biscuit Bones!

We couldn't make up our minds what flavour to buy...so we got Cheese Bones, Steak & Kidney Bones, Chicken and Carrot Bones and Liver & Bacon Bones.

Then it was time to leave and head back to Basecamp Thuglet..
thank you Molly, Taffy, Monty & Winne for having us. We had a lubbley fun time with you.

Wow..look what was on the motorway in front of us....Top Gear

A huge picture of the "THE STIG" was on it. We were so excited...it went so fast we think The Stig was driving it!

We couldn't wait to get home and tell Teddy. He thinks The Stig is the greatest!

It is called "Romanesco Broccoli" or "Roman Caulilflower". (Also spelt Romanesque) It is suggested it may be a hybrid of cauliflower and broccoli.
Our hoomans loved it...but they can't get it here where we live!!!

So our "our flat selves" went for a ride and some foodables

We went to a windmill where they make bread (sadly the big wind had blown the sails off last week-poor windmill)

There were some old cars there... the green was about 1939

This one was newer..late 1940's

We don't know about this one..but it was a bit smart.. Teddy would like this one

This is the wonderful warm bread they bought at the mill. Look at all this daleicious cheeses..yummalicious

Molly said just bring mine out here please..

Monty said..I'll have my dentastix in the garden today..yummers

Taffy wanted to play ball again ..so " our flat selves"naturally had to oblige!

Now this one is a strange one.... we ain't never seen this vegetable before

After a very busy day we all crashed out....Molly sleeps like us..

How about Taffy then...he certainly likes his comfort!

Something Completely Different

So for something completely different.......we have gone on holiday!

Well actually "Our Flat Selves" with our hoomans got on a puffa train and went to stay with our friends Molly,Taffy, Monty & Winnie ...

Whilst we unpacked our pawpacks, Winnie had an afternoon nap ...The others went out for a walk with our hoomans s.This is Monty

A Special Day

Sunday was a very special day for us, the 1st anniversary of the day we had to say goodbye to our very special girl Ellie

So in true Thuglet style we decided to celebrate by having a special tea with her favourite cakie. Victoria sponge with fresh cream and jam!

Someone (Teddy) couldn't wait to get his paws on it...

Nanna's ...we had a nanna afternoon. Teddy loves nanna's...

Teddy takin his time so it lasted......when you take someone elses nanna you can nibble it!

Mean while.... else where Webster and Holly were creating a fuss needing to be convinced that what they were being offered was not poison. Can you believe it he left his, rather Holly's nibbled nanna! So guess what happened...

B for Boomer

We won a Prize....... we won George The lads "Walking with Boomerang" book!

Teddy of course had to read it to us... George went on "The Historical Walk". We say a HUGE paw thankyou to George and his Mum and apologise as we thought (our silly PA again) that we had posted about our win ages ago! doh

We are thinking we will one day maybe load up the webbie wagon (yes Webster has a land rover named after him!) with our pawsacks and go for a Boomerang walk.

Then Cora remembered we have a Boomer Ball..so off she went to find it...

Boomer is very hard and moves very fast...

Teddy arrived and decided to make his voice heard that he wanted the Boomer..

He went on and on....

and On and on..getting louder and louder...

and on and on.......

AND ON AND ON....

at last he stopped for breath.......

Good he's gone for a drink ....its mine again!

Webster .... it's ok Holly you can uncover your ears now he has shut up! That boy is so LOUD!

Meanwhile someone took the hint and began to paint!

So it seems we have a major paint project under way here. But we will make sure we still have time to play and rest our paws!

As I was 7 got pawket money so I can decided what I would like as a prezzie. How cool is that? I think I am going to like being 7! NOT 61 Teddy!

7 Weeks

Yikes says Holly we can't believe we have been missing for 7 weeks!

So where have we been? NO WHERE!

Our PA is USELESS!

Teddy investigates a bag of hair!

Which as you will see belonged to him!

This is Webster having a treat whilst his airedoo began.........

Teddy decided to be helpful and after reading the manual

on the new hoover set to work..

The boys wanted to help our personal gardener in cutting the grass... but they both wanted to drive. We feared for our safety..so they had to watch instead!

Cora spent a lot of time watching what was going on...

We were all most surprised early one morning when bunny watching we heard a strange noise and look what we saw........

It flew right by us..the noise was very very loud

Frightened our bunnies it did (we actually counted 35 the other morning..hmmm maybe thats why we have been missing so long all this bunny watching?)

Then the other evening the heron dropped in for a visit

Last night who came to visit.....Foxy popped in

Well we have thanks to our Useless PA lots of catching up to do!

We hope everyone well and we'll be visiting soon!

Holly says we'll be back again soon. I need to go hide now, the dreaded airedoo table looms!!!!

D Day

We named Tuesday ........"D Day"

Tuesday was 21st June

our beautiful Dorcus would have been 6

We decided we would not be gloomy,gloomy and sad.

It's with great sadness we learnt Carol from Down Under has had to say goodbye to her lovely girl Kara. Carol sadly lost her beautiful young boy Bruce in November of last year. Sending Carol and her family lots of thoughts and hugs. x

What we did on Sunday

Yep we're here again!

Yesterday was sunny and we decided to play a few games.

Holly says me and Teddy rolled around in the tunnel, while Cora ran around with her trophy (a dead twiggie)

Holly....See I told you Teddy was in the tunnel with me!

Webster said it was too warm to do anything but sleep in the shade.

His peace didn't last long as Cora set off at a gallop..........

Yep.. as you can see she had spotted our chicken chewie bones arriving!

Hello Everyone & Happy Easter!

no we haven't been zapped by daleians were still here and pleased to report all fit and well.

Don't you just find your PA can be quite hopeless sometimes? They come back from holiday (ages ago) and then she is too busy doing other things..can you believe it! Anyway we have got our paws back on the computer at last.

Easter brought the sun and fun as well as lots of bonios & gravey bones! yum yum yummie

Webster ..trust me it really is safer to stay out of their way sometimes!

it's me Teddy..I had just had some yummy yogurt!

Lately I have been called "Teddy Tatty Head" by some around here!

So time I had a revamp and it has begun. Break time we found some bandana's so decided to have a play..well actually I didn't...I just had to be the model!

Finally we have our trial run loaded! He's very tired now as he did a night shift trying to upload it.

Thanks everyone for your lovely comments on our first attempt yesterday! The "panter" in the video was Cora. She had just done her warmup of 50 laps of the garden at 100 mph!

To help our viewers Cora has the purple collar and is the athlete amongst us. Teddy has the Blue collar. Not sure where Holly's collar went! Webster is sitting this one out.

Teddy says it was actually the blogger that was the problem!

Teddy Reads More Instructions

Hello everyone

Thanks for your comments about our first piccies with the new camera.

Well Teddy had been chatting to his new friend Sam (if you haven't met Sam he is a terrific little chappie, please do go visit him). By special request from Sam, Teddy pawed his way to page 50 in the goodpaws guide to the camera.

So Teddy having pawed over the destructions (most of the day) he told us what to do and we decided to have a bash at our first video. So here goes!!!!

Oh yes of course he had to star in it!

We Had a bit of difficulty loading it, thats an understatement (there were some very bad words..thankfully the camera was turned off) but phew! We think we managed it. Hope you enjoy it and please do remember this is a our first trial run!!

The post lady arrived with a parcel today... oh no.... she got a new camera!

Out into the garden we went for some trial piccies........... is this my best side? asked Teddy whilst giving directions on which buttons to operate!

Cora decided just to sit and watch ..she thought it best to leave the instructions to Teddy!

Cora's Parcel

Oh WOW

Great excitements ! The postman arrived with a parcel addressed to Cora all the way from the USA!

So who was my surprise parcel wrapped in fabulous paper from ?

We all closely examined it. Cora declared it was from her brother Dave who now lives in Seattle in the USA.

Cora thats me in the purtle collar!

Teddy decided to be very helpful saying he could open the parcel for me....

then being the ever helpful "Teddy the Rocketman" he shot off with my parcel round and round the kitchen!

Cora said...I don't mind you opening my parcel for me Teddy! (Not that I had any choice in the matter)!

He did quite a good job as you can see..............

So..whats in my parcel asks Cora?

and inside............oh WOW

OOOOh.... I don't know what to say, Cora

the black and white one has my name on it from Dave!

we opened the bag and look what was inside........so many goodies, including yummy treats. The new year card shows Dave and Alice his sister who is 12 yrs old.

The most wonderful and very special heart " Pawprint"brooch".

This was part of the messgage...... We didn't know what to say and there were some tears. Karen says she will always wear it proudly!

Corrr....Red wrapping paper with piccies of us on it. How cool is that? Hooman treats to go with ours!

My Makeover Begins

Hi it's me Holly here

well I am no longer be known as Miss Tattyhead!

So my make over began at the weekend.

On the dreaded table and where would she begin? ... oh the back of my head!

Oh ....and the front!

I took Webster's advice and I went to sleep!!! Pluck.. pluck.. pluck in my dreams she went

When I woke up....yeah yeah very funny! Fluffie Bunny ears!

More sleep and thankfully..my fluffie ears are no more!

So my days on the table will continue ...(much to Webster's disappointment as every day he runs to the table and sits waiting to get on it! Poor misguided boy! Teddy & Cora take cover and hide under the kitchen table...brave souls).

I understand for being such a good girl, I am to be absolutely and utterly pampered when all my hair is gone, with a bubble bath, massage and blow dry. Apparently I am supposed to be pleased?
